Bariatric Rehabilitation Congress 7- 8 November

At BRC2013 the newest knowledge about bariatric rehabilitation will be presented by leading lecturers with many years of experience in the bariatric field.

The congress focuses on practical knowledge about care, treatment and rehabilitation of bariatric patients, so in just 2 days it is possible to be brought up to speed on this particular challenge.

At BRC2013 it is also possible to meet exhibitors specializing in aids for bariatric patients, and thus be updated in relation to the opportunities that exist for choosing the right equipment / aids.
 
Facts about obesity in Denmark
170.000 Danes between 16 to 75 years are suffering from obesity, i.e. they have a BMI of more than 30.
Latest survey shows 4.4 percent of patients in Danish hospitals have a BMI over 35.
Former ergonomic consultant Anita E. Vesterdorf has investigated 90 accidents that had occurred in connection with transfer or support of patients. 22 of the accidents had bariatric patients involved.
